Due to a newly discovered security vulnerability in the Linux KVM hypervisor (CVE-2026-53359), proactive security adjustments are being implemented across the entire virtualization infrastructure tonight. To ensure data security, Nested Virtualization has been deactivated system-wide, and the CPU type of all VMs is being temporarily adjusted to a standardized profile.

For this purpose, all KVM systems will be briefly rebooted tonight at 03:00 AM CEST. The interruption will last only a few minutes, with all servers automatically returning to their original operating state after the reboot. No manual intervention is required. Features will be re-enabled as soon as official security patches have been applied. Should any questions arise or technical issues occur, the support team remains available at any time via the known channels. Thank you for your understanding and for the trust placed in these security measures.
