    As part of a scheduled maintenance, the performance of our storage system will be significantly improved. We will schedule a 96-hour maintenance window for the maintenance. If the maintenance is completed earlier, we will, of course, notify you immediately.

    During the maintenance period, there may be occasional delays in performing backups. Some backups may take slightly longer than usual—for example, a backup may take two hours instead of the usual one hour.

    The processors will be replaced today between 11:45 and 12:45 CET with the designated models with the correct number of cores and threads. We are ensuring that the hardware now meets the original specifications and performance is guaranteed as intended.

    The upgrade was performed, but with processors that have fewer cores and threads than intended. We will monitor the load until this afternoon and then decide whether another upgrade is necessary.

Issue Affecting All .de Domains

    This incident has been resolved.

    Due to an internal process, an error occurred on 01.03.2025 during the automatic renewal of approx. 850 .de domains. As a result, these domains were temporarily inactive. After intensive coordination with our provider and DENIC, a solution was worked out immediately.

    We will start tomorrow, 05.03.2025, to restore every affected domain - free of charge for the customer. They will then be fully available again. Please note that the restoration process may take some time due to the high manual effort involved.

    According to information from our registrar, the affected domains have been deleted. Our registrar is in contact to arrange for the domains to be restored. As it is a weekend, processing may be slightly delayed. The exact circumstances are still being investigated.

    Important: All affected domains are in the redemption period (30 days). This means that no domain is permanently lost and all can be restored.

    We are currently experiencing an issue that affects all .de domains. Due to an unknown error on the side of our registrar, all .de domains have entered RGP (Redemption-Grace-Period), which should only occur in case the domain is not renewed. This is clearly not intended and there is no need to renew the Domains! We have already reached out to our registrar to address the situation and are actively working towards a resolution.
